Happiness Shared!

Today's SL Daily Deal comes from the very cute store of Frippery!

Review - SL Daily Deals - Frippery

Today you can get transferable fatpacks of the Happiness Shared jewelry sets, which includes a necklace, bracelet, earrings and ring, for 50% off if you have your SLDD membership card. That is a GREAT deal for such CUTE jewelry! It's all prim work, no sculpts! You know, I do love sculpts, but when someone can REALLY work a prim...wow, I am amazed!

There are six different color packs. The one I'm wearing in the photo is Plum & Dusk. It's just so so pretty. I love it! And transferable! Gifts! Yay!

Go shopping at Frippery!

Got my t-shirt and my panties on...

Sometimes on Plurk, someone will ask "What do you wear to bed?" Well, of course there's a lot of naked out there, but me - I've always been more of a t-shirt and panties girl. My friend Rob1977 Moonites, who you may know already from FIR male clothing, recently branched out and made a new line, MNA, just for women! And his new sleeveless tees and matching panties are just too cute! AND they totally fit my need for bedtime!

Review - MNA - Sleeveless Tees & Panties, Pink

Review - MNA - Sleeveless Tees & Panties, Aqua

I think my favorite thing about these outfits, aside from the bright, pretty colors and cutie pie decals, is that the panties have great coverage! You wouldn't call them granny panties, but they're certainly not giving away the whole farm, and I love that!

The Tees & Panties are sold separately and come in 4 girly girl colors. Collect them all, because you need them!

I'll have more from MNA coming up in future posts, but don't wait for me - go shop!

Today's Gaze - Cowgirls Don't Cry

A couple of years ago, a little store named G Field came out with some inexpensive sandals that all my friends raved about. I didn't like them. I bought them, because everyone else did, but I didn't like them. Luckily, I kept going to G Field, because they had other little things that I liked, and now? Well, now they are one of my most favorite stores in SL.

Yesterday, the most adorable boots were released - the Short Western Boots. Girly and so cute! I fell in love! Love!!!

Earlier tonight we were over at Surf Co., and again love struck me. This time with the cutie pie Sway sundresses. And what goes better with a sundress and little western boots than a pretty pink cowgirl hat? Nothing, that's what! The Straw Cowboy hat is also by Surf Co. and is unisex.

I may never take this outfit off. I also suggest fatpacking, because I didn't, and I'm kicking myself for not doing it now.

Yeehaw, sweet cowgirls! Go shopping!

I like my tea sweet

When I heard that the Project Themeory theme this weekend was "Time For Tea," my thoughts immediately went to a nice tall glass of sweet iced tea on a hot summer's day. But you know, I am a Texas girl, and that's just how it's done. Based on the items I've seen so far, the theme is more traditional with the cups of hot tea. But when I saw Exodi's Tea Time dress, I was again in the summer mood, because this dress is just light, airy, and oh-so-elegant for the summertime.

Review - Exodi - Tea Time-Project Themeory

Gorgeous, isn't it? Ryker did just the right thing with letting the top of the dress be fairly low cut and sleeveless [sexy!], but letting the rest of the dress fall to just below the knee so that you're not showing off so much leg [modest!]. That is the way to do it! The lace print is lovely and there is a very cute bow on the back of the dress.

Tea Time in Pure is $75L for Themeory this weekend only, but there are other colors available at the Exodi mainstore for regular price.

Speaking of Themeory, I'm standing in front of the Shabby Tea House by Molto Bene, which is also $75L this weekend only. It's too cute, so you need it!

Actually, you might need all the Themeory stuff this weekend, so go shopping now!

This bird is ready for summer!

We all know that Autumn Hykova of Tiny Bird makes some lovely hair. But did you know she also makes clothes?? The new St. Augustine dress is just as cute as can be. Combine it with the new Postcards From Italy hair, and you've got a winning summer combination.

Review - Tiny Bird - New hair, dress

The dress is just...adorable! It's long and loose, perfect for throwing on after a fun day at the pool. And it has pockets! The skirt of the dress is sculpted, just as an FYI to those of you who just don't care for sculpted skirts.

The new Postcards From Italy hair is a very short, almost boyish cut. But with the pretty little tendrils falling, it definitely gives it that feminine feel. I'm not a huge fan of super short hair [in either life] but this one is really cute and definitely summery.

You can pick up these goodies at the Tiny Bird mainstore, and of course there are more colors to the dress and the hair than I've shown here. Hey Autumn! More clothes, please!!

Time to party like a Hucci!

I know, two posts in one day? What's come over me? :-p

Earlier today, I showed you something for work. But it IS almost Friday night, and it's time to party! And you can certainly party in this cutie Boho dress from House of Hucci. This particular print is called Block Party, and it really just screams "Yeah! Summer party!" to me!

Review - Hucci - Block Party

The Boho dress has a flexi skirt and a sculpted prim attachment around the waist to give it the dropped effect. It's so cute and works really well with AOs and dances. A few months ago, I had the honor of modeling for Hucci for Fabulous Fashion, and Eboni said that she tried to make her clothing so you could move in them. She does an amazing job of that!

The Boho dress comes in 3 solid colors and 3 patterns. This month, if you are an SL Daily Deals member, you can get this print that I'm wearing, or the solid white Boho dress, for 25% off at the Hucci mainstore. Remember the mantra of the SLDD - Touch, Then Pay! If you're not a SLDD member, go to the website to find out how you can be!

Time to party!

Today's Gaze - Casual Friday

Happy Friday!! In a lot of offices, Fridays are known as "Casual Friday" where you can wear jeans instead of skirts and pantyhose. When I used to work in offices, some people took the "casual" part a little too literally, wearing ratty jeans and old t-shirts. I've put together a look that says "Just because I'm casual, doesn't mean I'm a huge slob!" I also used items that were already in my inventory just hanging out, some of which I bet are lying around in your inventories as well!

[If you don't feel like reading, all the SLurls will be at the bottom of the page.]

Review - Today's Gaze - Casual Friday

The absolutely adorable Hooded Blazer in blue is from Decoy, which to many of us is home of the "cute butt" jeans. I put it over a bright turquoise Essential Tank from Mischief. If you get the Essential Tanks, which you should, I highly suggest fatpacking. When wearing jeans to the office, make sure they are clean and don't have holes. The Designer Jeans from fri.day fit the bill perfectly. As an added bonus, there are cuffs included with the jeans that are already sized for wearing flats. Love it! Speaking of flats, I'm wearing the Ballet Flats from recently closed ETD. Oh ETD, how I miss you already!!

For accessories, I decided not to go all matchy matchy with the rest of my outfit, instead calling on my signature color - PINK! - and pulling out this awesome Daisuki bag from Bare Rose. That SLurl will take you to their smaller-than-the-mainstore formal branch, which has a lot of super cute purses. I'm also wearing the Dangle Beads necklace in Celebrate from Earthstones. Celebrate, it is Friday!! My hair is this cute, casual style called Poppy by Truth. I turn to this style quite a bit lately, it is just that cute.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!!

Special corset for a special lady

Love sexy lingerie? Hey, me too! Tonight I went to the launch party for new lingerie from Dick Wiesel of WoE. He created an exclusive "Codie" color for his Olivia corsets. It is, of course, named after CodeBastard Redgrave, owner of the Rouge Sim, MechanizedLife and creator of the Boudoir Rouge photography series. She's one of my favorite people, so of COURSE I was going to run right out and get it!

Review - WoE - Olivia "Codie" Corset

Review - WoE - Olivia "Codie" Corset, back

This pretty little thing has a lace edging and great lacing on the back. It also includes a matching thong. Skimpy! After I bought it, and after I danced around Rouge for a bit, I ran home to try it on. And then my friend Rune came over to give me a hug. Awww, what a guy! Of course, then he left. Something about me not using lens flare...

You can pick up your Codie color corset ONLY at Rouge, and ladies, it is a MUST HAVE. And guys, you can pick one up for your girl because there is a transfer version available. And be sure to stop by WoE to check out all the other colors of Olivia. You'll love it!

Snaps for SySy!

Did you ever see Legally Blonde? Well, the sequel, at least? Elle Woods pulled out a Snap Cup. You put a compliment about someone in the snap cup and when it's read aloud, everyone gives that person snaps. Well, snaps for SySy today, for this cute pink dress, Yardena, which is in the 69L Hump Day Happiness sale!

Review - SySy - Yardena, hot pink

Review - SySy - Yardena, back

I'm wearing the sculpted skirt, which is tiered and fluffy, but there is a slim skirt also included. And double snaps for that low dipped back!

The hot pink Yardena is 69L today only [hurry!] but if you miss out, or don't care for pink, there are 6 other colors available at SySy's mainstore.

Snaps for all of you who go shopping now!

A Mischievous Cherry

Oh, I just adore the color pink. Just LOVE it! But that's to be expected as I am pretty much a huge girly girl. When I saw the notice from Cherry that they had an exclusive color of the new Rosario flats, and that the color was Glittery Pink, well...you know I had to RUN to get them!

Okay, so that's a lie. I didn't run anywhere, I got them on XStreet. But you get the point.

I paired them up with this just adorable new dress from Mischief called My Best Girl. So cute!

Review - Mischief, Cherry

This cute little sundress does have a sculpted skirt, which I know a lot of people don't like, but it's "fluffy" enough to work with a variety of AO poses without your hips and butt sticking out too much. I'm wearing it in Candy, and it comes in 5 different colors. You can pick it up at the Mischief mainstore. I suggest fatpacking!

The Rosario flats are also just precious. I don't usually like a lot of stuff going on with my flats, but I like the ankle band on these. You can get the exclusive Glittery Pink color at the Cherry mainstore or on XStreet. There are only 150 available on XStreet, and in world they're only available until the 17th, so snatch them up quickly! If pink isn't your thing [gasp!], you can pick up the other 5 colors at Cherry, too.

Go shop!

Cause I'm a Gypsy...

I'm always happy with outfits that can be used for different "characters" or just as something pretty to wear. My friend Chandni Khondji of Hopscotch put together this adorable little outfit named Arwyn, and it's just perfect for playing a fae, wandering around in your garden, or being a pretty gypsy. Growing up, I was always a bit fascinated with Esmerelda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, so of course I felt it was a little more gypsy in nature.

Review - Hopscotch - Arwyn

I think the skirt is absolutely darling, and I love the arm cuffs. It shows just enough skin, but not so much that you're giving away the entire farm. Arwyn comes in 12 different colors [I'm wearing it in Lavender], which you can buy separately or in a fatpack. I have a feeling I'm going to be getting quite a bit of use out of the skirts, most definitely!

No more reading, hop on over to Hopscotch and shop!

New At Amacci!

I'm not proud of it, but I'm really bad at finding new hair stores in Second Life. I have my few chosen favorites, usually chosen because they carry my particular shade of blonde, and that's about it for me. I'm always happy to find stores that have cute hair! Carina Larsen of Amacci dropped two of her new releases on me earlier, and they are oh-so-cute!
