From her cowboy boots to her down home roots

When I think of L`Abel, I think of elegant, ladylike clothing because that is most definitely what you get. However, when I was trying on the new Mily dress, I happened to be wearing red boots at the time. As beautiful as this dress is, it suddenly reminded me of the rodeo princesses I've seen here in Texas, so I had to style it that way. I think it works!

Review - L'Abel - Mily

The dress is just gorgeous. Big fluffy sculpted skirt, wonderful texturing, and a cute little cap sleeve on one shoulder. I'm wearing it in the Silver color, but there are other colors available as well.

The whole L`Abel summer collection is just amazing, and I'll be showing more here in the blog in the next few weeks, but you'd do yourself a big favor if you'd just go to the to shop!

Well, I probably won't jog in them...

I hate doing laundry. Hate! But at least I can be comfortable when washing last night's party dress with my new Joggers from MNA!

Review - MNA - Joggers

I have been looking for some great sweatpants in SL for a while because, hello, they're my favorite thing to wear in the physical world! [What? You thought I was blogging while wearing heels and a corset?] The Joggers from MNA come in several different colors [I'm wearing blue] and just look so comfy and soft. Love them!

You can pick up your Joggers at the mainstore, and hey, take your guy along with you! If you didn't know, MNA is the women's part of the men's store, FIR, and they have their own Joggers, too! One stop shopping is always a great thing!

Welcome To Miami

New from the House of Hucci, these new Miami dresses are sure to set your summertime romances on fire!

Review - Hucci - Miami

This sexy little mini-dress is tight! And I do mean TIGHT because I'm pretty sure if I were to eat a bite of prim food, you'd see the outline of it on my tummy! The dress also boasts some unique side "cuts." The strings play peek-a-boo with your skin, perfect for letting that summer tan show! If you haven't scored your summer hottie yet, this dress will probably do the trick.

Head on over to House of Hucci and then grab your girls and hit the club! It's summer, anything can happen!

Just Exhale

Have I ever mentioned that I simply love Phoenix Rising? I have, haven't I? My love continues to grow in leaps and bounds, and their new lingerie line is the reason!

Today I'm wearing the Exhale lingerie. It seemed a little more on the burlesque side to me [I think it was the gloves] and so the boots and hair just seemed to fall into place when I put it on.

Review - Phoenix Rising - Exhale

What can I possibly say about this set? It speaks for itself! Super sexy, awesome details - you'd be nuts not to want this! There are also other lingerie sets in the collection and of course other colors. You will find something you love, I just know it!

Phoenix Rising releases their lingerie line later this evening, and you will definitely NOT want to miss out. Check the vendor ads, you might even see some of your favorite bloggers! ;)

The Mariposa Effect

You know how sometimes you hear the whisper of a store name in SL, but you don't really know what the store is or what it sells? And then one day, you hear the whisper again, and you finally look it up and head over? That's what the store Mariposa was for me. But now that I've gone, oh my! I will want to go back again and again! Absolutely gorgeous jewelry, and the creator, Felicity Winslet, was incredibly nice to me! Good customer service goes a long long way in my book.

This is the Acat jewelry set, and I am just thrilled with it!

Review - Mariposa - Acat Jewelry

Acat caught my attention because of the turquoise beads. I just love turquoise! In the set is the necklace, bracelet, and earrings. Felicity was also awesome and she has included 2 necklaces in the package for both the chest and the spine attachment points. There are 4 different color options to choose from. The jewelry is no modify/copy/no transfer and comes with resize scripts.

Flutter your wings to Mariposa [which is the Spanish word for "butterfly." See what I did there?] and check out all the really awesome jewelry!

Naturally Pretty

Sometimes, outfits really just fall together naturally all on their own. I was trying on the new Creone dress by Miamai and wondering what accessories I owned that would look good with it when out of the sky [via a group notice, of course!] came the Aizza jewelry set by ByKay! Well, hello gorgeous!

[All SLurls are at the bottom if you don't care to read the whole post.]

Review - Miamai, ByKay, Exposeur

Review - Miamai, Exposeur - Alicia pose, Creone dress

Review - ByKay - Aizza jewelry

The Creone dress is just so pretty. Flowy, with a delicate floral print and a great chain-like belt. There is actually a chain halter strap to hold things up in place, but I had a hard time adjusting it. So let's pretend I'm just wearing double sided tape to keep things in place! ;) Creone comes in several very pretty colors, so I just know you'll find one that you love.

The low back is a look I'm quite fond of in SL, and what better way to show it off than by using my own pose? Well, okay, I didn't MAKE the pose. It was actually made by my friend RubyStarlight Writer of Exposeur. It's named Alicia and is part of her new release, The Hotties - Part 4. Ruby always sets her new releases for CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP when they first come out. Like, $50L a pose pack cheap! So get over there and you can pose like me, too.

Now the jewelry! Oh, I do so love turquoise and more natural stones! This set is just stunning and quite realistic! I was not familiar with ByKay before this, but believe me, I'm heading to the store to check things out just as soon as I'm done with this post!

Which...is now!

Oh, I don't think I'm a bridezilla!

If I were ever going to get married, I'm fairly sure I wouldn't be a Bridezilla. Probably, although it does seem to be a tradition. If you're getting married and want something non-traditional to wear, check out the new Burlesque Bride ensemble by Reasonable Desires! It's definitely not for a traditional bride - it's for a sexy one!

Review - Reasonable Desires - Burlesque Bride, 1

Review - Reasonable Desires - Burlesque Bride, 2

The outfit comes with so many pieces! Corset, lace shirt, halter bra, pasties, different stocking, panties, and a fab little skirt with a big floofy back, along with a little bouquet and a veil. I'm telling you, this is awesome! I just love love love outfits with loads of options! The skirt was really my favorite part, with the big cascade of ruffles down the back. Really gorgeous!

And of course, don't forget that after the wedding comes, there IS a honeymoon to look forward to!

Review - Reasonable Desires - Burlesque Bride, 3

Reasonable Desires is full of fun costumes and sexy lingerie, so it's most definitely a store worth checking out. I have another new release to show you guys later from there, but right now, I'm off to play bride!

Today's Gaze - Not that kind of girl

Although it's not officially summer yet, in my neck of the woods, it sure feels like it! [Hello, 100 degree temperatures!] When it's hot, a lot of us find ways to take our dates and fun indoors. Not in that way, pervies! ;) Today I've created a look that says, "Yes, it's hot, but hey, let's keep this date casual, okay?" And casual it is, because I'm not wearing all that much!

[All SLurls will be at the bottom if you don't feel like reading.]

Review - Today's Gaze - Not that kind of girl

The Ruffle Halter top by Hucci is just super cute and sexy in that "Girl next door" way. The bottom band goes around the back and the long neck ties drape down in a way that would make someone just want to give them a little tug to see what happens. And of course the front is low and quite cleavage baring!

My jeans come from new-to-me store Twisted & Spoiled, and I'm wearing them in True Blue. When I first bought them, I thought, "Are the shadings and highlights too harsh?" But the more I look at them, the more I like them. I definitely want to go back and get some more!

The simple Freedom Flops by Surf Co. on my feet are probably my favorite flip flops in SL right now, and it's not unusual for me to pair them up with all kinds of outfits. My hair is an older style, Sasha, by Truth. I say older, but it's really only from January. Of course, in Truth Hawks language, that's pretty ancient since he manages to put out 2-4 styles a week. My pose is from Olive Juice, and if you're not familiar with that pose store, you better get familiar with it. Super cute poses!

The set I'm in is The Pub from CLICK, which I mentioned a few days ago when I talked about their contest. There are poses in the photo set for both singles and couples, and all kinds of props! It's really just a fabulous set and if you're like me and you get tired of having to stage your own sets for photos, I highly recommend CLICK photo sets to you.

Stay cool, summer babes!

Ooh, it's an OuTRage!

I'm not really a club girl anymore. Used to be! A long time ago, you bet I used to be! But I sure do still appreciate little dresses that are just absolutely awesome for the club, and this new Thalia dress by OuTRage! is certainly very very clubworthy.

Review - Outrage - Thalia

Review - Outrage - Thalia, long sleeves

The dress comes with both the halter top and the long sleeved versions. I love that it's short, but not SO short that you might as well not even bother with a skirt. The deep cleavage showing neckline ends in a knot that has a swishy ruffle tie. I really like it!

Thalia comes in black, white, gold and silver, and of course you can fatpack it. If you hit the clubs a lot, I suggest fatpacking! You'll be OuTRage!-ous in this dress! [Oh, see what I did there?]

Hmm...I wonder if I can find a date for tonight....
